DISASTER PREPAREDNESS FOR BUSINESSES
All Chamber members should go to the EMA website (www.waldocountyme.gov/ema) to begin their planning for how their organizations can recover from a disaster, whether it is weather related or from some other event.
Specifically, businesses should download and review the booklet prepared especially for businesses – http://www.waldocountyme.gov/ema/user/Preparedness_102.pdf. It reviews the causes and nature of disasters and emergencies, and outlines the key areas you can plan for in order to be able to operate your business sooner after any event.
