The Mission of the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is to champion a thriving business environment for its members through promotion, networking, advocacy, community partnerships and access to relevant information.

Key Activities

  • Publish and distribute 25,000+ award-winning ‘Belfast : The Bay and Beyond’ guides across the state and region
  • Market Belfast and Waldo County as a great place to live, work, relocate and vacation
  • Host Business After Hours and Business Breakfast networking events, educational and training events, and a Small Business Conference
  • As Belfast and Waldo County’s only area visitors center, we greet thousands of visitors and encouraging them to stay and play locally
  • Publish weekly e-newsletter of events, announcements, promotions, plus a bi-weekly members e-newsletter of “news you can use”
  • Events for the community, such as Arts In The Park and Holiday on the Harbor, and an annual Golf Tournament
