Major airlines fly into Portland
International Jetport (PWM100 miles
south) and Bangor International Airport
(BGR37 miles north). Daily commercial
air service is also available to Knox
County Airport (35 miles). There is
limousine and bus service from the
Portland and Bangor airports, and car
rentals are available at all three airports.
You might also want to check out fares
to Manchester, New Hampshire. Often,
the prices are so competitive that the
extra driving time (Manchester is a
1.5 hour drive from Portland) is well
worth it. The Belfast Municipal Airport
provides charters nationwide and into
Canada. Scenic and helicopter service
is also available.
