Tuesday, July 12th, at 6:00 PM the Historical Society of Searsport will be having their annual picnic meeting at the Searsport Shores Ocean Camp Grounds. Please bring a dish to share for dinner. Steve and Astrid Tanguay are hosting this event for us and will show us around their beautiful facilities. Please note it is handicapped accessible. This campground is noted as one of the best in New England, so come and find out why it has that fame. There is more than Fabric College going on in this beautiful spot. They have on-going programs each week with guest artists and representatives.Tuesday night features Mihoko Wakabayashi, native of Japan, who has been working on SAORI Weaving for nearly 20 years.
