Waterfall Arts Hosts Musical Performance

Waterfall Arts is pleased to announce two nights of musical performance - " Little Things You Do Together": A Sondheim Revue on Friday and Saturday May 6 and 7 beginning at 7:30 in the Fallout Shelter performance space. Admission $10 adults, $8 seniors and students.

The performances will be a fundraiser for Waterfall Arts. The organizers describe it as "An opportunity to showcase amazing local musical talent as well bring live performance of music theatre to Belfast. It is our delayed birthday tribute to Stephen Sondheim, arguably, the pre-eminent creative talent in musical theatre today."

Pica Design is pleased to welcome Wreaths Across America™, as a new Client. In early March, Pica was awarded a contract to provide web development services to redesign WAA’s new website presence. The new website is currently in development. Wreaths Across America™ is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization that was formed as an extension of the Arlington Wreath Project. The Arlington Wreath program was started by Morrill Worcester of Worcester Wreath Company in 1992 with the donation and laying of 5,000 Christmas wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery. Searsport District High School, Penobscot Marine Museum Collaborate on "Alternate Path" to Academic Success

A new boatbuilding program is being used to teach physical science to a small group of high school students, thanks to collaboration between Searsport District High School and Penobscot Marine Museum. Even as they learn how to sharpen chisels, mix epoxy and run a bandsaw, seven sophomores, juniors and seniors are studying concepts such as vectors, drag and torque, with the help of a professional boatbuilder and educators from the school and the museum.
