A special training for volunteer groups, organizations, and programs Monday, April 12, 2010 Point Lookout, Northport, ME 1 P.M.-4 P.M. Adults 50 and older represent a large portion of Maine’s population. They have the skills, experience, and interest in volunteering in the areas of smart growth, environmental stewardship, and community building. If so, please join us for a special training specifically designed for volunteer coordinators, program managers, and other key leaders who work with volunteers!
Topics to be covered include marketing to older adults, recruiting and retaining volunteers, best practices in volunteer management, tools for
working with highly skilled volunteers, and the “4 F’s” of Baby Boomer volunteerism.
