Penney Company, Inc., one of the nation’s largest department store retailers, is offering shoppers an easy and exciting way to experience great service and convenience with the Grand Opening of the jcp.com | catalog center located inside Belfast Office Supply & Services (BOSS), at 17 Main St., Downtown Belfast, adjacent to County Copy Center.

The official grand opening for the new jcp.com | catalog center will take place on June 22, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony within the Belfast Office Supply & Services store. For added convenience, the new jcp.com | catalog center provides an assortment of services including; order and pickup of Internet and Catalog purchases, returns/ exchanges, payments on a JCPenney Credit Card, purchase of JCPenney Gift Cards, and a wide assortment of catalogs available at no charge.

The jcp.com | catalog center will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We are excited about being able to offer convenient, quality products in Waldo County through the JC Penney catalog and internet system. We know that many people have expressed an interest in having a JC Penney outlet in Belfast and we are thrilled to be able to provide it,” declared co-owner Linda St. Peter. This latest service will be added to the office supply service and the photo/digital processing and photo accessory service.

Belfast favorite, Scoops has joined the Maine Coast Welcome Center family of tourist services. Karen Rak has set up shop within the Maine Coast Welcome Center with Scoops East, a satellite operation in addition to her Main St. Belfast location. While our guests are being educated on the places to stay, places to eat, and things to do in our great state of Maine, they'll be enjoying some Maine made ice cream & gelato to kick off their experience.

Scoops grand opening is Thursday, May 20th from 11am-7pm to lead in to our Belfast Chamber After Hours. Come on over for an Ice Cream and tour of the Maine Coast Welcome Center at 169 Searsport Ave. (Rte One) Belfast, Maine.
