Retro Weekend at Searsport Shores
Ocean Camping
A fun packed weekend for Greaser and Hippies alike
with a chance to indulge in the laid back days of
old. The public is invited to attend this event for
the benefit of Pine Tree Camp with 50's/60's styled
events. A vintage car show of more than 125 classic
cars, horseshoe tournament, dunking booth, twist
dance contest, annual Penobscot Bay Hula Hoop
Championships, Jell-O eating competition. Enjoy a
drive-in movie slurping root beer floats and munch-
ing fresh popcorn, delicious Maine blueberry pancake
breakfast served on the beach. Beach Mega-Twister
on a 26' x 26' twister mat. Many prizes including Best
Greaser & Best Hippie outfit. For 65 years Pine Tree
Camp has provided the summer camp experience for
Maine people with disabilities.
