EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce seeks energetic experienced individual to fill the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer and reports to the 15 person Board of Directors.

Responsibilities: Advance the mission, purpose and objectives of the Chamber through Economic development, Community Relations, Marketing, Planning, Public relations, and Revenue Generation.

Job requirements:

• Strong leadership, consensus building, marketing business, recruitment & financial skills


• Ability to motivate and lead staff and volunteers


• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including marketing, business administration, economic development, finance


• Minimum 3 years of Chamber experience preferred


• Minimum 5 years experience in economic development, business administration, public administration, marketing/sales is preferred
